Posted by The BVI Financial Services Commission (“BVI FSC”) was considering measures to ensure compliance within the established deadline for BVI Annual Returns, including a potential extension to the original filing deadlines.
The BVI FSC has approved an extension to the initial filing deadline of 30 September 2024. The new extended deadline is now 30 June 2025.
As a result, companies that were originally required to file their first annual returns by 30 September now have until 30 June 2025 to fulfill this requirement. Note that failure to comply by the 30 June 2025 deadline will result in immediate penalties including striking-off of non-compliant entities.
